| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Condominium Property Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 2.1 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2.1. Applicability. Unless otherwise expressly |

| provided in another
Section, the
the provisions of this Act are |

| applicable to all condominiums in this
State. Any provisions of |

| a condominium instrument that contains provisions
inconsistent |

| with the provisions of this Act are void as against public |
| 12 |
| policy
and ineffective. |
