    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The School Construction Law is amended by 
5
changing Section 5-55 as follows:

    (105 ILCS 230/5-55)

    Sec. 5-55. Rules.

    (a) The
The Capital Development Board shall promulgate such 
9
rules as it deems
necessary for carrying out its 
10
responsibilities under the provisions of this
Article.

    (b) The State Board of Education shall promulgate such 
12
rules as it deems
necessary for carrying out its

responsibilities under the provisions of this
Article.
