| AN ACT concerning liquor.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 6-14 as follows:
|
| 6 |

| Sec. 6-14. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic |
| 8 |
| liquor on Sundays
unless authorized by general ordinance or |
| 9 |
| resolution of the
the city council,
president and board of |

| trustees or county board, as the case may be;
provided, however |
| 11 |
| that the city council, president and board of trustees or
|
| 12 |
| county board, as the case may be, may further restrict the |
| 13 |
| permissible
hours for the sale of alcoholic liquors under such |
| 14 |
| licenses in its
political subdivision as the public good and |
| 15 |
| convenience may require. |
