    AN ACT concerning courts.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Circuit Courts Act is amended by changing 
5
Section 4 as follows:

    (705 ILCS 35/4)  (from Ch. 37, par. 72.4)

    Sec. 4. There shall be no stated terms in the
the circuit 
8
courts, which shall
always be open for the transaction of all 
9
business, subject to adjournment
from time to time. The circuit 
10
judges in each circuit shall prescribe by
rule the times of 
11
calling grand and petit juries in each of the counties of
the 
12
circuit and the periods for which the jurors shall serve.
