| AN ACT concerning business.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Motor Vehicle Franchise Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 3 as follows:
|

| Sec. 3. Applicability of Act. Any person who engages |
| 8 |
| directly or indirectly in purposeful contacts within
this State |
| 9 |
| in connection with the
the offering or advertising for sale or |

| has
business dealings with respect to a motor vehicle within |
| 11 |
| the State shall
be subject to the provisions of this Act and |
| 12 |
| shall be subject to the jurisdiction
of the courts of this |

| State. |
