    AN ACT concerning State government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended  by adding 
5
Sections 85 and 90 as follows:

    (5 ILCS 460/85  new)
7
    Sec. 85. State amphibian. The amphibian Ambystoma tigrinum 
8
tigrinum, commonly known as the "Eastern Tiger Salamander", is 
9
designated the official State amphibian of the State of 
10
Illinois.

    (5 ILCS 460/90  new)

    Sec. 90. State reptile. The reptile Chrysemys picta, 
13
commonly known as the "Painted Turtle", is designated the 
14
official State reptile of the State of Illinois.
