| AN ACT regarding schools.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections |
| 5 |
| 10-20.40 and
34-18.32 as follows:
|

| (105 ILCS 5/10-20.40 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 10-20.40. Prohibition on police line-ups and mug photo
|
| 8 |
| shoots. A school board shall prohibit a law enforcement agency |
| 9 |
| or school
official, while on school grounds or at a |
| 10 |
| school-sponsored activity, from
recruiting or compelling a |
| 11 |
| student to participate in a police
line-up, mock police |
| 12 |
| line-up, or mug photograph shoot without the permission of the |
| 13 |
| student's parent or guardian.
