| AN ACT concerning criminal law.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 12-10.3 as follows:
|

| (720 ILCS 5/12-10.3 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 12-10.3. Jewelry eye implants prohibited.
|
| 8 |
| (a) A person may not implant pieces of jewelry into the |
| 9 |
| mucous membrane of the eye. |
| 10 |
| (b) Sentence. A violation of this Section is a Class 4 |
| 11 |
| felony. |
| 12 |
| (c) The clerk of the court shall forward a copy of the |
| 13 |
| judgment of conviction of any person who violates this Section |
| 14 |
| to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for |
| 15 |
| appropriate disciplinary action under any appropriate |
| 16 |
| licensure Act.
