    Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act.
Provides that the immunities granted for fire protection and rescue services
apply to those responding under the terms of a mutual aid agreement.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Local Governmental and Governmental 
5
Employees Tort Immunity
Act is amended by adding Section 
6
5-105.5 as follows:

    (745 ILCS 10/5-105.5 new)

    Sec. 5-105.5. Mutual aid contracts.  The immunities 
9
provided in this Article
V apply to any local public entity and 
10
any of its employees when responding to
an emergency call 
11
according to the
terms of any mutual aid agreement between the 
12
local public entity and another
local
public entity or the 
13
State.
