Provides that every hospital subject to either of the Acts must screen all patients for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in accordance with guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Provides that if a patient tests positive for MRSA, the hospital must so inform the patient and offer treatment to the patient.
