Eliminates the provisions that permit a person to acquire and possess a stun gun or taser if he or she has in his or her possession a Firearm Owner's Identification Card previously issued in his or her name by the Department of State Police. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Prohibits the sale, manufacture, purchase, possession, or use of stun guns and tasers. Establishes penalties. Provides that these provisions shall not be construed to permit the sale, possession, carrying, or use of a stun gun or taser by a peace officer.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
