<reference>20 ILCS 2605/2605-440 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of State Police Law. Provides that the Department of State Police may make grants to units of local government to defray the costs incurred by those units of local government in: (1) securing and cleaning up sites in which methamphetamine was illegally manufactured; (2) employing full or part-time police officers assigned to drug task forces or Metropolitan Enforcement Groups and for overtime pay for these officers; and (3) providing medical and dental care for methamphetamine addicts incarcerated in county jails. Effective July 1, 2005.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
