<SynopsisText>Assuming the legislation is amended to amend the Illinois Act on the Aging to require the Ill. Department on Aging (IDoA) to establish and maintain a homemaker registry, the IDoA estimates the cost of this registry at approximately $400,000, of which $275,000 are one-time expenses. This cost reflects a one-time $250,000 contract for a consultant to establish the web-based registry, $25,000 for a server, and approximately $125,000 for two staff persons to maintain the registry as well as to monitor the required informational elements (e.g., date and location of homemaker training).</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
