<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 2-3.25g</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. In provisions concerning the waiver or modification of mandates within the School Code and rules, provides that the State Board of Education's Spring mandate waiver report must be filed with the Senate and House of Representatives before each March 1 (instead of May 1), and provides that the General Assembly may disapprove the Spring report within 60 (instead of 30) calendar days. Provides that as part of the disapproval process, the Senate and House of Representatives shall convene a joint committee in order to consider the report, and a joint resolution must be introduced in either the Senate or the House of Representatives. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
