<reference>40 ILCS 5/4-108</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 4-108</aliasreference><reference>30 ILCS 805/8.29 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Pension Code. Specifies that, when a new downstate firefighter pension fund is created for firefighters previously under IMRF, the affected firefighters receive creditable service in the new pension fund for service credits transferred from IMRF to the new pension fund. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
