Schmitz 625 ILCS 5/3-104from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 3-104 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that an application for a certificate of title to a vehicle must include the applicant's age. Provides that if an applicant for a certificate of title is under the age of 18 years and is not legally an emancipated minor, the application must be accompanied by a statement, signed by the applicant's parent or legal guardian, consenting to the application. Provides that if a vehicle has multiple owners, if any owner is a person under 18 and is not legally an emancipated minor, a parental statement of consent is also required, unless one of the other owners is the minor's parent or legal guardian.
