| WHEREAS, We have learned with sadness of the death of Ugo |
| 3 |
| Sabatini of Oak Lawn on Wednesday, September 29, 2004; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, Ugo Sabatini was born to Almerinda and Cesare |
| 5 |
| Sabatini in the tiny Abruzzi Mountain town of Raiano in central |
| 6 |
| Italy; he married his childhood sweetheart, the former Linda |
| 7 |
| Santangelo; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Sabatini attended tailoring school and opened |
| 9 |
| his own tailor shop in Rome; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Sabatini, his wife, and their three children |
| 11 |
| left Italy in 1966 to join his parents and his brother Nello in |
| 12 |
| Chicago, where Mr. and Mrs. Sabatini both found work at Hart |
| 13 |
| Schaffner & Marx; Mr. Sabatini later worked as a master tailor |
| 14 |
| at Burton's Store for Men at the Ford City shopping center; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, In 1980, Mr. and Mrs. Sabatini opened Hugo's Dry |
| 16 |
| Cleaner and Tailoring in Burbank; they worked side by side |
| 17 |
| throughout their married life; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Sabatini was a member of the Sons of Italy, |
| 19 |
| the Mazzini Verdi Club, and Raiano M.A.S.; in his spare time, |
| 20 |
| he enjoyed playing bocce ball at a park near his home; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Ugo Sabatini will be deeply felt by |
| 22 |
| many, especially his wife, Linda; his sons, Cesare (Melanie), |
| 23 |
| Terenzio (Nancy), and Diego (Jackie); his mother, Almerinda; |
| 24 |
| his brother, Nello (Julie); his grandchildren, Kelly, David, |
| 25 |
| Kristina, Samantha, Nikolas, Sofia, Catherine, Jillian, and |
| 26 |
| Ashley; and his nephews, Richard and Marco; he is preceded in |
| 27 |
| death by his father, Cesare Sabatini; therefore, be it
|
