| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois wish to recognize Mrs. Janet Wines on the |
| 4 |
| occasion of her retirement from the Mt. Zion school district on |
| 5 |
| May 25, 2004; and
|
| 6 |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Wines is the daughter of Virgil and Edith |
| 7 |
| Gregg of Clarksburg Township in Shelby County; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Wines is an honored graduate of Eastern |
| 9 |
| Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary |
| 10 |
| Education in 1968 and a master's degree in Library Science in |
| 11 |
| 1988; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Wines has served the children and families of |
| 13 |
| the Mt. Zion school district as a district librarian for 35 |
| 14 |
| years; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She has instilled in her students the love of |
| 16 |
| reading and the joy of books that will carry on for |
| 17 |
| generations;
and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, She is the proud mother of two daughters, Michelle |
| 19 |
| Kelm and Melissa Taggart; and the grandmother of four |
| 20 |
| granddaughters, Zoe, Sarah, Bryn, and Grace; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Wines recently celebrated the 39th |
| 22 |
| anniversary of her marriage to Mr. Dale Wines; and
|
| 23 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Wines is a life-long resident of Central |
| 24 |
| Illinois having been born, raised, and continues to live and |
| 25 |
| worship in Shelbyville; therefore, be it
|
