| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives wish to congratulate the Carlyle Jr. High Lady |
| 4 |
| Indians on winning the Southern Illinois State Basketball |
| 5 |
| Championship, large school title; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The Carlyle Indians defeated Salem, Centralia, |
| 7 |
| West Frankfort, Metropolis, and Carmi to become the large |
| 8 |
| school State champions for Southern Illinois; they won with a |
| 9 |
| 39-35 victory over the Carmi Lady Bulldogs; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the team are Ashlee Johnson, Jolyn |
| 11 |
| Alexander, Paige Isaak, Maddie Beckmann, Hannah Beckmann, |
| 12 |
| Kaitlyn Williams, Raelyn Bell, Mandy Laws, Stacie Hughes, Lara |
| 13 |
| Delahunt, Christie Ronnenberg, Lauren Luebbers, Kaitlin Bolk, |
| 14 |
| Kayla Boehne, and Lauren Timmermann; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The Carlyle Indians are lead by coach Randy Voss |
| 16 |
| (8th grade) and Jeff Wessel (7th grade); the team managers and |
| 17 |
| statisticians are Tia Robertson, Cassie Funderburk, Courtney |
| 18 |
| Berry, and Kayla Carpenter; the waterboys are Ryan Drake, Jody |
| 19 |
| Gustafson, Kody Bolk, and Jacob Ade; and
|
| 20 |
| WHEREAS, In addition to the players and coaches, |

| congratulations go to Carlyle Jr. High Principal, Jim McClaren; |
| 22 |
| and Superintendent, Rick DeFauw; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| congratulate the Carlyle Jr. High Lady Indians on winning the |
