SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply
3saddened to learn of the passing of Jayne E. Schirmacher of
4Orland Park, who passed away on October 19, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher, the beloved daughter of
6William and Frances Schirmacher, was born on May 31, 1952; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher was a dedicated and successful
8realtor whose passion was helping families achieve the dream
9of homeownership, and she made a lasting impact on communities
10across Illinois through her thoughtful leadership and
11involvement in public policy; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher selflessly served her community
13as a trustee for the Orland Fire Protection District, giving
14her time and energy to ensure the safety and well-being of
15those around her; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher was a proud and loving mother
17to her three daughters, Jacquelyn, Jillian, and Jianna, and
18she cherished every moment with them, inspiring them through
19her love, guidance, and example; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher was a loyal friend, mentor, and

1source of encouragement to many, known for her warmth,
2generosity, and the gift of making everyone feel heard and
3valued; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher, guided by the principles of
5respect, honesty, kindness, and service to others, left a
6lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who had the
7honor of knowing her; her spirit of service, love, and
8dedication will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and
9community; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jayne Schirmacher was the sister of Martha, the
11late Susan, Leslie, and Lisa (Mark Thielen) Schirmacher, and
12the friend of Virginia (the late Rick) Breen and Donald Rowe;
13therefore, be it
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
16Jayne E. Schirmacher and extend our sincere condolences to her
17family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
18further
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20presented to the family of Jayne Schirmacher as an expression
21of our deepest sympathy.
