SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Michael Lee "Mike" Dailey of Ipava,
4who passed away on October 10, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mike Dailey was born in Canton to Raymond and
6Ethel Marie (Wise) Dailey on June 19, 1964; he served with the
7U.S. Marine Corps; he attended Western Illinois University and
8graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in
9mechanical engineering; he married Sue Ulmer in Lewistown; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Mike Dailey worked as a mechanical engineer at
11Western Illinois University; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mike Dailey enjoyed woodworking, water
13activities, and collecting Hot Wheel cars; he was able to fix
14anything; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mike Dailey was preceded in death by his
16daughter, Alexa Dailey; his father; and his brothers, Mark and
17Scott Dailey; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Mike Dailey is survived by his wife, Sue; his
19mother, Marie (John) Gage; and his daughters, Heather (Scott)
20Miller and Angel Dailey and her sons, Tyler Keime and Devon

1Dailey (Katie Wilson); therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Michael Lee "Mike" Dailey and extend our sincere condolences
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
6it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Mike Dailey as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
