SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Bill L. Entwistle of Easton, who
4passed away on September 25, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was born in Mason County to Loren
6and Helen (Schulz) Entwistle on August 7, 1942; he graduated
7from Easton High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army
8from April 1964 until April 1966; he married Susan Moore in
9Mason City on September 23, 1966; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was a plant manager for CFS and
11later F/S in Easton for several years; he farmed in the Easton
12area from 1976 until his retirement in 2008; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle enjoyed restoring old tractors in
14his retirement; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was preceded in death by his
16parents and his brother, John Entwistle; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle is survived by his wife, Susan;
18his children, James (Janell) and Michael Entwistle; his
19grandchildren, Jared (Brooke), Emily, and Riley (Brittany)
20Entwistle; his great-grandchildren, Max, Emersyn, Easton, and

1Boston; and his sisters, Carol Murk and Linda (Mike) Coker;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Bill L. Entwistle and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Bill Entwistle as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
