SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ryan Whitehouse of Normal, who passed
4away on September 24, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ryan Whitehouse was raised in a farming community
6and dedicated his life to agriculture and public service,
7serving as an advocate for farmers in Bloomington-Normal and
8the State of Illinois; he worked tirelessly to ensure that
9rural voices were heard in Springfield and Washington, D.C.
10alike; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Through his work with the Illinois Farm Bureau
12and in his many roles supporting agriculture, Ryan Whitehouse
13became a trusted leader and advisor known for his deep
14knowledge, collaborative spirit, and ability to bridge divides
15for the good of farmers and rural communities; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ryan
17Whitehouse was a man of strong character, compassion, and good
18humor who was noted for his ability to make those around him
19feel valued and respected; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ryan Whitehouse was a deeply devoted family man,
21cherishing his role as an uncle and godfather above all else,

1and a true friend whose life exemplified the very best of
2service and leadership; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Ryan Whitehouse was a committed son, brother,
4uncle, friend, and colleague who will be remembered by all who
5knew him for his kindness, humility, and unwavering
6generosity; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Ryan Whitehouse is survived by his mother,
8Michelle; his siblings, Mike, Mindy, Wayne, and Craig; his
9niece and nephews; his goddaughter, Avery Ummel; his uncle,
10Bill Marc; and many cousins; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Ryan Whitehouse and extend our sincere condolences to his
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Ryan Whitehouse as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
