SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Gary Charles Pileski of Malta, who
4passed away on July 25, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on
6November 29, 1941; he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting
7and his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski worked as an attorney, founding his
10own practice to better serve his clients with compassion,
11integrity, and skill; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski served as a trustee of the Village
13of Roselle from 1973 to 1977; he further served his community
14as an active member of the Roselle Lions Club, an adult leader
15in 4-H, and a coach of youth intramural sports; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski was a member of Roselle United
17Methodist Church, where he chaired the preschool board and
18served in various roles over the decades; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski was a lifelong University of
20Wisconsin-Madison football fan; and

1    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski was a devoted husband, father,
2grandfather, and friend; he was known for his kindness,
3loyalty, and compassion for others; he will be remembered for
4his quick wit, steady presence, and quiet strength; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Pileski is survived by his wife of 39 years,
6Alice; his children, Hobie Pileski, Missy (Martin) Stewart,
7Heidi Hames, Jody (Letty) Pileski, Cody (Oscar) Guerrero, and
8David (Kathryn) Pileski; his bonus children, Sarah (Timm) and
9Daniel; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his
10brothers, Rob Pileski and Larry Pileski; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Gary Charles Pileski and extend our sincere condolences to his
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Gary Pileski as an expression of our
18deepest sympathy.
