| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Pivoroff Sr., who passed |
| 4 | | away on July 21, 2025; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bob Pivoroff, the son of the late Paul and Helen |
| 6 | | (Fogiel) Pivoroff, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on |
| 7 | | October 12, 1949; he served in the United States Army from 1969 |
| 8 | | to 1970, where he was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; |
| 9 | | he resided in Augusta, Maine for 17 years before moving to the |
| 10 | | Midwest in 2018 to be closer to his son and grandson; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Bob Pivoroff's career spanned various roles, |
| 12 | | including at a newspaper and a furniture store; he later |
| 13 | | worked with his father at Sterling Dye in the boiler room; and |
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Bob Pivoroff loved fishing, coin collecting, and |
| 15 | | spending time with his friends, Steve, Charlie, and Ray; as a |
| 16 | | devoted father, he enjoyed taking his son to various |
| 17 | | activities, including baseball games and fishing trips; and |
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Bob Pivoroff was known for his kindness, his |
| 19 | | generous spirit, and his strong faith; and |
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Bob Pivoroff is survived by his son, Robert (Bob) |
