SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Trustee Mary Anne (Raymond) Blair of
4the Woodridge Village Board of Trustees, who passed away on
5July 10, 2025; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was born to Charlie and Ann (Porto)
7Raymond on February 1, 1953; she was raised in the Village of
8Bellwood and was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High
9School; she attended Quincy College; she married Donald Blair
10in September 1974, and together they built a life and raised
11three daughters in Woodridge; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was dedicated to serving her
13community with compassion, integrity, and unwavering
14commitment for nearly 40 years, first as a commissioner of the
15Woodridge Board of Police Commissioners and later as the
16longest-serving trustee of the Woodridge Village Board of
17Trustees; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was an active member of the
19Woodridge Rotary Club and served as a Eucharistic minister at
20St. Scholastica Catholic Church; she also served on the
21Illinois Police Officers Memorial Committee since 1990,
22working to support officers and their families throughout the

1State; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was a cherished and devoted wife,
3mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; her family was
4the cornerstone of her life, and she made sure stories were
5told, memories were made, and everyone felt loved; she enjoyed
6spending time with her friends while traveling, celebrating
7events, and doing everyday activities; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair will be remembered as a loving,
9generous, and selfless woman who left an indelible mark on her
10family, friends, and community; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was the mother of Jennifer (John
12Albright) Blair, Stephanie (Matt) Campbell, and Katie (Mike)
13Reed; the grandmother of six; and the sister of Chuck and the
14late Anthony (the late Margaret); therefore, be it
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
17Trustee Mary Anne (Raymond) Blair of the Woodridge Village
18Board of Trustees and extend our sincere condolences to her
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
20further
