| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Trustee Mary Anne (Raymond) Blair of |
| 4 | | the Woodridge Village Board of Trustees, who passed away on |
| 5 | | July 10, 2025; and |
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was born to Charlie and Ann (Porto) |
| 7 | | Raymond on February 1, 1953; she was raised in the Village of |
| 8 | | Bellwood and was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High |
| 9 | | School; she attended Quincy College; she married Donald Blair |
| 10 | | in September 1974, and together they built a life and raised |
| 11 | | three daughters in Woodridge; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was dedicated to serving her |
| 13 | | community with compassion, integrity, and unwavering |
| 14 | | commitment for nearly 40 years, first as a commissioner of the |
| 15 | | Woodridge Board of Police Commissioners and later as the |
| 16 | | longest-serving trustee of the Woodridge Village Board of |
| 17 | | Trustees; and |
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was an active member of the |
| 19 | | Woodridge Rotary Club and served as a Eucharistic minister at |
| 20 | | St. Scholastica Catholic Church; she also served on the |
| 21 | | Illinois Police Officers Memorial Committee since 1990, |
| 22 | | working to support officers and their families throughout the |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was a cherished and devoted wife, |
| 3 | | mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; her family was |
| 4 | | the cornerstone of her life, and she made sure stories were |
| 5 | | told, memories were made, and everyone felt loved; she enjoyed |
| 6 | | spending time with her friends while traveling, celebrating |
| 7 | | events, and doing everyday activities; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair will be remembered as a loving, |
| 9 | | generous, and selfless woman who left an indelible mark on her |
| 10 | | family, friends, and community; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Trustee Blair was the mother of Jennifer (John |
| 12 | | Albright) Blair, Stephanie (Matt) Campbell, and Katie (Mike) |
| 13 | | Reed; the grandmother of six; and the sister of Chuck and the |
| 14 | | late Anthony (the late Margaret); therefore, be it |
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Trustee Mary Anne (Raymond) Blair of the Woodridge Village |
| 18 | | Board of Trustees and extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 19 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
