SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Amanda R. Sodaro of Springfield, who 
4passed away on June 20, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro, the daughter of Kathy Sodaro and 
6Brad Mills, was born in Springfield on August 25, 1979; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro was a member of Third Presbyterian 
8Church in Springfield; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro loved Hello Kitty and SpongeBob 
10SquarePants; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro was preceded in death by her 
12maternal grandparents, James and Judith Sodaro; her paternal 
13grandparents, Louis and Martha Mills; and her aunt, Barbara J. 
14Waid; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Amanda Sodaro is survived by her parents; her 
16sister, Justine Macklin; and several aunts and uncles; 
17therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Amanda R. Sodaro and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
