SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Margaret Lucille Collins; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Margaret Collins was born to Lela Mae Brown in 
5Shreveport, Louisiana on December 9, 1941; she was the second 
6of eight children; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Margaret Collins and her family moved to Chicago, 
8where she attended Hendricks Elementary School and graduated 
9from DuSable High School; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Margaret Collins married Ernest Collins on 
11November 18, 1962, and they had four children; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Margaret Collins was preceded in death by her 
13mother and two brothers; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Margaret Collins is survived by her children, 
15Ernest (Ann, Bella) Collins Jr., Brian Collins, LaFondra 
16Collins, and Anthony (Noreal) Collins; one brother; four 
17sisters; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host 
18of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Margaret Lucille Collins and extend our sincere condolences to 
3her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Margaret Collins as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
