SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Jacob Conrad James of Virden, who 
4passed away on February 15, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jacob James, the son of Kyle James and Shelby 
6Stufflebeam, was born in Springfield on November 29, 2014; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jacob James was a sixth grade student at Sangamon 
8Area Special Education District (SASED) in Springfield; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jacob James loved cars, dinosaurs, and trucks; 
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jacob James passed away alongside his father and 
12older brother, Hunter James; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jacob James is survived by his mother; his 
14younger sister, Molly James; his maternal grandparents, 
15Barbara Stufflebeam and Chuck (Trina) McGraw; his paternal 
16grandmother, Jackie James; and several aunts, uncles, and 
17cousins; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Jacob Conrad James and extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Jacob James as an expression of our 
6deepest sympathy.
