| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Illinois' economy depends on a robust and |
| 3 | | efficient business climate; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, State regulations may hinder the creation and |
| 5 | | growth of business economic opportunity; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Illinois government should assist economic growth |
| 7 | | whenever and however possible; therefore, be it
|
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
| 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we urge the |
| 10 | | elimination of all first-year business fees relating to any |
| 11 | | license or registration for any new business or person |
| 12 | | establishing a new business, including home-based businesses, |
| 13 | | whose principal place of business is in this State; and be it |
| 14 | | further

| 15 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 16 | | delivered to the Senate President, the Speaker of the House, |
| 17 | | the Senate Minority Leader, the House Minority Leader, and the |
| 18 | | Governor. |
