| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Paul Keller Boll, who passed away on |
| 4 | | January 15, 2025; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Boll, the son of Walter J. Boll and Margaret |
| 6 | | (Keller) Boll, was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 10, 1940; |
| 7 | | he graduated from Farmersville High School and Springfield |
| 8 | | Junior College; he married Diane Seelbach in 1961; and |
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Paul Boll served as the first male lay teacher at |
| 10 | | Little Flower School before he began selling pharmaceuticals |
| 11 | | throughout central Illinois; he then opened Paul Boll Painting |
| 12 | | and Decorating in 1978, where he worked with his wife until he |
| 13 | | retired in 2014; his business was credited for several works, |
| 14 | | including the Governor's Mansion, the Old State Capitol Dome, |
| 15 | | Memorial Medical Center, the Main Gate at the Illinois State |
| 16 | | Fair, and Cooper's Hawk; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Paul Boll was a member of the Church of the Little |
| 18 | | Flower for over 60 years, and he was active in the Little |
| 19 | | Flower Men's Club; and |
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Paul Boll was an avid Detroit Tigers and Notre |
| 21 | | Dame Fighting Irish fan; he enjoyed reading, history, |
