| 2 |  |     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened  | 
| 3 |  | to learn of the death of Marlin L. Reynolds of Milan, who  | 
| 4 |  | passed away on November 15, 2024; and   | 
| 5 |  |     WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds, the son of Leo and Freda  | 
| 6 |  | (Miller) Reynolds, was born in Moline on August 16, 1944; he  | 
| 7 |  | served in the Army National Guard; and   | 
| 8 |  |     WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds worked for the Rock Island County  | 
| 9 |  | Highway Department, retiring in 2017; he worked his family  | 
| 10 |  | farm his entire life, and he was lovingly working on his farm  | 
| 11 |  | at the time of his passing; and   | 
| 12 |  |     WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was a member of the Milan  | 
| 13 |  | American Legion, the National Rifle Association (NRA), and the  | 
| 14 |  | Rock Island County Farm Bureau, and he enjoyed collecting  | 
| 15 |  | Allis-Chalmers tractors; and   | 
| 16 |  |     WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was known for being able to fix  | 
| 17 |  | almost anything, and he was always willing to help his  | 
| 18 |  | neighbors; and   | 
| 19 |  |     WHEREAS, Marlin Reynolds was preceded in death by his  | 
| 20 |  | parents; and   |
