AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3341

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3341 on page 1,
3line 10, after "(a)", by inserting "of"; and
 
4on page 1, by replacing lines 18 through 22 with the following:
5    "(b) Any minor may give effective consent for
6contraceptive services or supplies and the consent of no other
7person is required. A request for prescription contraceptive
8services or supplies shall be made to a physician licensed to
9practice medicine in all of its branches, an advanced practice
10registered nurse or a physician assistant licensed to practice
11in the State, or a pharmacist pursuant to the Pharmacy
12Practice Act. For the purposes of accessing contraceptive
13services or supplies under this Act, a minor is deemed to have
14the same legal capacity to act and has the same powers and
15obligations as a person of legal age.".
