| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The amount of $9,000,000 or so much thereof as |
| 5 | | may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public |
| 6 | | Health from the General Revenue Fund for continued funding to |
| 7 | | the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics for |
| 8 | | grants and other expenses of free and charitable clinics to |
| 9 | | provide care or make referrals for uninsured or underinsured |
| 10 | | people living with acute and chronic health issues, including, |
| 11 | | but not limited to, medical health care, behavioral health |
| 12 | | care, oral health care, outreach, health education, screening |
| 13 | | and testing, medication and related expenses, disease |
| 14 | | prevention, and vaccinations.

| 15 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 16 | | 2025. |
