Effective July 1, 2025. |

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $26,000,000, or so much of that sum |
| 5 | | as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue |
| 6 | | Fund to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to |
| 7 | | reimburse public universities and community colleges for costs |
| 8 | | associated with the Illinois Veteran grant program and the |
| 9 | | Illinois National Guard and Naval Militia grant program.

| 10 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
