SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert Timothy "Tim" Yeage of Oak Park, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 61; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was born in Utica, New York; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage graduated from Wheaton Central High School and attended the University of Iowa; he later received his bachelor's degree and juris doctorate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was a dedicated partner at the law firm of Wilson Elser, where he worked for more than 30 years and served as a member of Wilson Elser's executive committee and chair of the London practice; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage spent much of his time serving his local community, coaching baseball, basketball, and softball in Oak Park and tutoring at Learning Edge Tutoring for more than 15 years; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was an active member of Ascension Parish and served as a marriage mentor and a leader on Appalachian Service Project trips; he was also an avid volunteer at St. Catherine-St. Lucy School, where he organized barbeques and fundraisers and helped start a tutoring program; and

WHEREAS, Tim Yeage is survived by his wife, Suzanne Holmes, and his children, Katie (Stephen) and Robby (Isabel); therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert Timothy "Tim" Yeage and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tim Yeage as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
