| 2 |  |     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened  | 
| 3 |  | to learn of the death of Thomas L. "Tom" Tracy of Kirkwood,  | 
| 4 |  | Missouri, formerly of Mt. Sterling, who passed away on  | 
| 5 |  | November 14, 2024; and
 | 
| 6 |  |     WHEREAS, Tom Tracy was born to Robert "RT" and Dorothy  | 
| 7 |  | Tracy on August 27, 1952; he attended St. Mary's Academy and  | 
| 8 |  | graduated from Brown County High School; he earned his  | 
| 9 |  | bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University  | 
| 10 |  | in 1974; and
 | 
| 11 |  |     WHEREAS, Tom Tracy worked as an accountant after college  | 
| 12 |  | before joining his family's company, Dot Foods; for nearly 40  | 
| 13 |  | years, he contributed to the success of the family business in  | 
| 14 |  | various roles, including as a member of the board of directors  | 
| 15 |  | for 25 years; and
 | 
| 16 |  |     WHEREAS, Tom Tracy was a family man and enjoyed his time  | 
| 17 |  | with his loved ones on the water at Lake of the Ozarks and in  | 
| 18 |  | recent years at RT's Cove; he loved baseball, especially  | 
| 19 |  | cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals; his other passion was  | 
| 20 |  | flying airplanes, and he found great joy in taking his friends  | 
| 21 |  | and family up in the skies with him; he passed his love for  | 
| 22 |  | flying onto his son, Alex, who is also a pilot; and
