SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Sue A. Dowson of Pawnee, who passed 
4away on November 10, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sue Dowson, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy 
6Crowe Hogan, was born in Decatur on June 24, 1947; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Sue Dowson married Dean Dowson on November 12, 
81966; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sue Dowson was a member of St. Joseph the Worker 
10Catholic Church in Chatham; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sue Dowson will be remembered as a loving mother 
12and grandmother; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Sue Dowson is survived by her husband; her 
14daughters, Donna (Tim) Eike, Michelle Dowson, Jodi (Scott) 
15Mundhenke, and Janelle (Steve) Moffitt; six grandchildren; one 
16great-granddaughter; her sisters, Donna Logue, Bonnie 
17(Richard) Williams, and Cindy (Dave) Loyd; her brothers, Larry 
18(Diane) Hogan, Bob (Kay) Hogan, Ken (Daphne) Hogan, and 
19Patrick (Mary) Hogan; several nieces and nephews; and her 
20friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Sue A. Dowson and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Sue Dowson as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
