| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Maxine May Hubbard of Des Plaines, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 1, 2024; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard was born to Howard and Florence |
| 6 | | May in Mansfield, Ohio on December 17, 1942; she graduated |
| 7 | | from DePauw University; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard taught Spanish and served as an |
| 9 | | administrator and principal in Illinois School District 62; |
| 10 | | and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard remained an active member of the |
| 12 | | community after her retirement and served in leadership roles |
| 13 | | within the District 62 Foundation, the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and |
| 14 | | the First Congressional Church; and |
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard loved traveling and spending time |
| 16 | | with her family and friends; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard was preceded in death by her |
| 18 | | husband of 50 years, Douglas Hubbard, and her daughter, |
| 19 | | Rebecca; and |
