| 2 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated law enforcement civilian personnel, |
| 3 | | including community service officers, records staff, animal |
| 4 | | control officers, and administrative staff, serve the citizens |
| 5 | | of Illinois through providing them with vital public safety |
| 6 | | services; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Law enforcement civilian personnel are crucial to |
| 8 | | assisting law enforcement in their work to create safe |
| 9 | | communities throughout the State; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The efficiency of the qualified and dedicated |
| 11 | | personnel who staff civilian law enforcement positions are |
| 12 | | substantially influenced by people's attitudes and |
| 13 | | understandings of the importance of the work they perform; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Law enforcement civilian personnel serve the |
| 15 | | State of Illinois each day while demonstrating |
| 16 | | professionalism, efficiency, and compassion during the |
| 17 | | performance of their essential duties; therefore, be it; |
