| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Bryce Lee Richardson of Havana, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 30, 2023; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bryce Richardson was born to Douglas and Sheryl |
| 6 | | Richardson in Springfield on June 11, 1986; he was a lifelong |
| 7 | | resident of the Havana area; he attended New Central |
| 8 | | Elementary School and Havana Junior High School High before |
| 9 | | graduating from Havana High School in 2004; he attended Spoon |
| 10 | | River College; he became a father of twin girls, Brylee and |
| 11 | | Brystol, in 2010; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Bryce Richardson served in the U.S. Navy while |
| 13 | | aboard the U.S.S. Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier; he later |
| 14 | | worked as an over the road trucker; and |
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Bryce Richardson enjoyed spending time with his |
| 16 | | daughters, his friends, Patrick, Joey, and Billy, and his dog, |
| 17 | | Brutus, who often accompanied him on long hauls in the semi; |
| 18 | | and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Bryce Richardson was preceded in death by his |
| 20 | | grandfathers, Paul "Chuck" Richardson and James Lance; his |
| 21 | | step-grandparents, Roy and Virginia Ryder; and his beagle, |
