SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Albert "Poodie" Pasley of Canton, who 
4passed away on June 19, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Pasley was born in Fiatt  to John and 
6Lillian (Weidhuner) Pasley on June 29, 1948; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Albert Pasley served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Albert Pasley enjoyed playing poker and shooting 
10pool; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Albert Pasley was preceded in death by his 
12parents; his brothers, John Pasley, Bob Weidhuner, Fred 
13Pasley, Ronnie Pasley, and Glen Pasley; and his sister, Donna 
14Baker; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Albert Pasley is survived by several nieces and 
16nephews, including Troy Pasley; his  great-niece, Kelsey Cox;  
17his  great-nephew, Landon Pasley; and his  brothers, Larry "Joe" 
18Pasley and Gary Pasley; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Albert "Poodie" Pasley and extend our sincere condolences to 
3his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

6presented to  the family of  Albert Pasley as an expression of
