| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Michael M. Winn of Toulon, who passed |
| 4 | | away on January 17, 2023; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Michael Winn was born to William and Lorraine |
| 6 | | (Mona) Winn in Rockford on March 23, 1952; he graduated from |
| 7 | | Toulon High School in 1970 and attended Black Hawk College |
| 8 | | East Campus;
he served in the U.S. Army; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Michael Winn was a member of the Toulon United |
| 10 | | Methodist Church and the Stark County Genealogical Society; |
| 11 | | and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Michael Winn loved local history and genealogy, |
| 13 | | and he was known his ability to recall names, dates, and |
| 14 | | numbers off the top of his head; he enjoyed dining with friends |
| 15 | | and family, attending community gatherings, and spending time |
| 16 | | at the Toulon Library; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Michael Winn was preceded in death by his parents |
| 18 | | and his brother, Mitch Winn; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Michael Winn is survived by his sister-in-law, |
| 20 | | Colleen Kimberly Winn; his nephew, Marcus Winn; his niece, |
