SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Frank Nunez of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on January 22, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Nunez was born to Alejandro and Luz Nunez 
6on September 21, 1988; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Frank Nunez was a committed firefighter for the 
8Itasca Fire Department; he was extremely motivated and a hard 
9worker; his positive attitude stayed with him even until his 
10last moments; he was genuinely kind-hearted and compassionate 
11and a supportive husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend who 
12was wise beyond his years; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Frank Nunez was preceded in death by his parents; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Frank Nunez is survived by his wife, Christina 
16Patel; his twin sister, Mariela (Raymond Jr.) Earhart; his 
17brother, Alejandro (Kate) Nunez; his sister, Veronica (Julio) 
18Rangel; his nieces and nephews, Keanu, Aaliyah, and Alyssa 
19Rangel, Raymond III, and Michael Earhart; his grandmother, 
20Maria Del Refujio Chacon; his firefighter brothers and 
21sisters; his  friends; and his beloved dogs, Max and Otis;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Frank Nunez and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
5friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Frank Nunez as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
