| 1 | | SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Certain state agencies have specialty equipment |
| 3 | | and personnel with expertise that other state agencies do not |
| 4 | | have; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, It is in the State's best interest for state |
| 6 | | agencies to work together on projects and to loan equipment to |
| 7 | | other state agencies for Illinois to work efficiently and at |
| 8 | | the lowest cost to taxpayers; therefore, be it
|
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
| 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF |
| 11 | | REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that we encourage state |
| 12 | | agencies to collaborate with one another to create a more |
| 13 | | efficient state government, including, but not limited to, |
| 14 | | loaning equipment to other state agencies as available through |
| 15 | | Inter Governmental Agreements, loaning employees with |
| 16 | | expertise in an area for a project within another agency, and |
| 17 | | general collaboration to create a more efficient state |
| 18 | | government; and be it further
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 20 | | delivered to the heads of all state agencies. |
