AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3606

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3606 as follows:
 
3on page 9, line 10, after "school", by inserting ", one 
4non-voting member who is an administrator of a separate public 
5special education day school, and one non-voting member from a 
6State agency that administers and provides early childhood 
7education and care programs and services to children and 
8families"; and
 
9on page 9, line 13, after "schools", by inserting ", separate 
10public special education day schools,"; and
 
11on page 11, line 14, after "schools", by inserting ", separate 
12public special education day schools,"; and
 
13on page 12, lines 14 and 15, by replacing "a separate public 
14special education day school," with "a private special

2school, or private special education facility,"; and
 
3on page 16, immediately below line 20, by inserting the 
4following:
5    "(x) The State Board of Education may adopt such rules as

9    "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
102024.".
