| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Candy |
| 4 | | Gordon, who passed away on May 2, 2024; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Candy Gordon was born to Elaine D. Lunkins and |
| 6 | | Randolph Littleton Sr. in Chicago on February 23, 1968; she |
| 7 | | graduated from Proviso East High School in 1985; she continued |
| 8 | | her education with a focus in psychology at Triton College and |
| 9 | | Governors State University; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Candy Gordon displayed her love for others |
| 11 | | through her work at a number of organizations, including Jane |
| 12 | | Addams Homes in Chicago, Clearbrook in Arlington Heights, and |
| 13 | | the Association for Individual Development in Aurora; she made |
| 14 | | her mark in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked at the |
| 15 | | YMCA, Monroe Harding, Inc., and the Mental Health Cooperative; |
| 16 | | and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Candy Gordon committed to her faith at an early |
| 18 | | age; she loved her hometown of Chicago, traveling, and her |
| 19 | | family; she enjoyed dressing up every day and spending time |
| 20 | | with her grandchildren; and |
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Candy Gordon was an outspoken individual who |
