HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of William 
4James Martys of Antioch, who passed away on April 12, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William  Martys was born to Theodore and Mildred 
6Martys in Chicago on July 25, 1963; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, William Martys was a pupil of Kung Fu for most of 
8his life; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Above all, William Martys loved his family and 
10friends; and
 
11    WHEREAS, William Martys was preceded in death by his 
12parents; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, William Martys is survived by his children, 
14Jacquelyn, Aleczander, Anthony, and Aiden; his grandchild, 
15Molly Martys; his siblings, Kathi (Matthew) Deresinski, 
16Michael (Gail) Martys, and Sandra Gaylord; his niece and 
17nephew, Julia (Kenny) Wieda and Ryan Gaylord; and many other 
18family members and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we mourn the passing of William James Martys and extend our 
3sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
4and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of William Martys as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
