AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5277 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5277 on page 1, 
3immediately above line 4, by inserting the following:
 
4    "Section 1. Findings. The General Assembly finds and 
5declares that since the federal government has launched the 
6America the Beautiful Challenge, whose goals include expanding 
7access to the outdoors, particularly in underserved 
8communities, formed the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor 
9Recreation (FICOR), to create more safe, affordable, and 
10equitable opportunities for Americans to get outdoors, and 
11there are currently several federal funding programs aimed at 
12improving equitable access to the outdoors, including the 
13Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program 
14(ATIIP), the Neighborhood Access & Equity Grant Program, the 
15Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program, the Delta Regional 
16Authority's Strategic Planning Grant Program, and the Bridge 
17Investment Program, a goal of this Act is to capture and use

1federal funds from these existing programs or any programs 
2that would become available in the future."; and
 
3on page 2, line 1, after "shelters,", by inserting "bikeshare 
4infrastructure,".
