| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 149 as follows:

| 6 | | (5 ILCS 490/149 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 149. National PTSD Awareness Day. The twenty-seventh |
| 8 | | day of June of each year is designated as National PTSD |
| 9 | | Awareness Day to be observed throughout the State as a day of |
| 10 | | awareness and recognition of how post-traumatic stress |
| 11 | | disorder affects the lives of those impacted by it. |
